Welcome to St. Matthew’s Church Web site.

I have served as St. Matthew’s Intentional Interim Pastor since September 2006, guiding the church in a thorough self-study during its transition between pastors. The church will soon be calling a pastor to lead it into the next chapter of its long history of ministry and mission in Maiden and beyond.

I have come to know this congregation well over the months I have served as their Pastor. A church of 300 members, St. Matthew’s is a close-knit and welcoming church family. People of all ages and generations come together to worship, study, fellowship, and serve. The people take responsibility for the life of their church and sincerely desire to see it grow and its mission thrive.

If you are looking for a church home, I urge you to visit some Sunday morning to worship with us. The people of St. Matthew’s are warm and welcoming to visitors. During the summer months (June-August), the service begins at 10:30 a.m., and other months of the year at 11:00 a.m. Sunday School classes for all ages begin an hour and fifteen minutes before the service.

I invite you to look at the various parts of this Web site, and then come to St. Matthew’s some Sunday morning and meet these Christian people firsthand.
