Firm Believers in Christ (FBI)
Fellowship for 18 to 30 year olds
The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ. We write this to make our joy complete.

Projects
Warm Hearts Chili Cook Off
The FBI sponsored the SMUCC Chili Cook Off, with a chili contest between the fellowship groups of SMUCC. Everyone gathered for an evening of chili, laughter, entertainment, and fun!
The following groups entered the Chili Cook Off: Men’s Brotherhood, Women’s Fellowship, Christians in Action (CIA), Fellowship of Disciples on Assignment (FDA), Firm Believers in Christ (FBI), Carpenter's Workshop, and Middle Youth.
In addition, we sold raffle tickets for a crocheted American Flag Afghan (45” x 70”), and we held the raffle drawing at the end of the evening. Door prizes were given away for various contests, including a round of "Battle of the Sexes," a make-your-own Valentine contest, and a pinata-bursting contest.
Texas Pete was our MC, and over 100 people attended the evening which was a great success!

Son Fest Youth Rally @ Living Word Church - May
Members of the FBI gathered at Living Word Church, providing afternoon refreshments for the youth attending this convention.
Rocking Chairs for JRVC
With funds from our Pancake Breakfast, we decided to purchase five rocking chairs and donate them to the John's River Valley Camp (www.jrvc.org). In preparation for our church's annual JRVC weekend, the FBI purchased and refinished five rocking chairs. The chairs are beautiful, and church members enjoyed using them at JRVC.
Vespers at JRVC
With ten FBI members camping at JRVC this year, we were responsible for the Saturday evening Vespers program. We had a great time preparing for the program that focused on Fellowship. We asked various church members to share with us their nicest, funniest, scariest, or craziest John's River memories. We received eleven responses, and we used these stories during our program. The program was a great success.

Fall Festival
At the SMUCC Fall Festival, FBI members dressed up for Halloween and decorated a booth. The FBI was responsible for making the Caramel Apples, and after a little trial and error, the apples were terrific!

Christmas Light Boxes
The group sold Christmas Light Boxes during the month of December. The response to this fundraiser was overwhelming! With the money raised, we purchased two bicycles and a bicycle helmet and donated these items to the Lincoln County Christian Ministries to use as Christmas gifts for a needy young girl and boy.
FBI Pancake Breakfast - August
We sponsored an "All You Care to Eat" Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser. Over 100 people stopped by for breakfast! This fundraiser was a BIG success!
