Men's Brotherhood

Acts 2:42

"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer"

Men's Brotherhood meets the first Sunday of every month at 7:00 a.m.  Devotions follow an awesome country style breakfast.  Men of all ages are welcome to join - we would love for you to be a part of our group.

Annual Report 2007:

The Men’s Brotherhood began the year 2007 with expectations that we, in our ways, would further the Kingdom and trusting that He would help in accomplishing this.

The project for remodeling the kitchen cabinets with new cooking area was taken on.

Sponsored 2 fund-raising meals, which was a success with members and the community’s help.

During the year, the group of 16 to 18 members participated in a mission trip to Boone to do work at a resort area of missions.  Pictures of their work and fellowship were posted on the bulletin board.  The trip was enjoyed by all team members.

The Brotherhood along with our congregation continues to support a mission called Campus Crusade for Christ which we have reports that approximately 1400 new members to the church of our Lord.  The people of the Carolinas, Tennessee, and Kentucky will know the benefits from this in years to come.

Planning to participate in another mission trip planned for February of 2008 to Biloxi, Mississippi.  The trip is being coordinated by Rev. Kelly Barefoot.
