Women's Fellowship
Acts 2:42
"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer"
The Women's Fellowship is a very active group of church women of all ages. Every woman in the congregation is an automatic member, but we want you to become involved in our worship, projects, and fellowship. We meet the first Wednesday night in each month. We have a short program, refreshments, and a business meeting.
Annual Report for 2007:
Services rendered by the Women’s Fellowship include preparing Holy Communion eleven times during 2007 and carrying out Altar Guild duties weekly by changing the altar paraments as dictated by the liturgical season, covering the altar elements, and keeping the pew pencils sharpened and pew racks neat. This group coordinated church-wide efforts to provide bereavement meals to six families, provided meals to the Helping Hands Clinic twice, and assisted with the Prison Ministry Christmas Meal by providing food for twenty inmates. In addition, this group organized “packers” for Christian Ministry during the weeks established and celebrated with a small gift the graduation of four of our members.
Special programs during the year were presented in February by Bud Michael on “Aging and its related Diseases”, in October by Dr. Tom Warren on “Preventing and Reversing Heart Disease”, and in November by Susan Brymer on Christian Ministries of Lincoln County. These programs were open to the church family and the community. Dr. Warren donated ten items to the church to begin a health library:
Decisions during 2007 included:
To procure appliqués and make stoles that match the paraments for St. Matthew’s minister

To sell the 2nd and 3rd edition St. Matthew’s Cookbooks at $10.00 each
